ABOUT THE ARTIST
 Pat Olds studied with top illustrators at Art Center school in Los Angeles, Calif. to name a few: John LaGotta, Reynold Brown, & Paul Souza. She continued as a Free-lance artist and took lessons with Ed Whitney in watercolor when she moved to New York. She learned to paint florals with Ruth Baderian and Portraits with Richard Cardiff. She took a trip to Italy and worked in watercolor with Joe Bohler who came all the way from Colorado for that workshop.
For a while Pat was a member of the American Portrait Artists and Metropolitian Portrait Society in New York. She used to be a member of the Huntington Art League of Long Island, The Wet Paints Studio Group in Sayville, The Hudson Valley Art Association and the Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council, Inc.
Pat used to go to Dog and Cat shows and Horse shows where she did portraits live. Doing animals was self taught. She works in pastels and oils from photos now. She has kept working after her move to New Jersey. Her work can also be seen on Art Exchange.
